The Bhaktivedanta Center and BhaktivedantaCenter.com

The Bhaktivedanta Center is composed of individuals who have in common the desire to practice, and teach the science of Bhakti Yoga under the guidance of the teachings of A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. It is independent and has no formal affiliation with any other group.

The Bhaktivedanta Center was started in 1993 in Charlottesville, VA. The center is on a ridge overlooking the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains. The mailing address is 1060 Old Ridge Rd., Woods Mill, VA 22949. (There are no facilities at the center for overnight guests—Sorry!) The Center sponsors the Bhakti Yoga Club at the University of Virginia, and holds regular programs for students and community members.

This BhaktivedantaCenter.com site was established to provide a community for those who are interested in a practical and wholistic life as Bhakti Yogis. This site is an attempt to fill what we see as a gap in available bona fide information and inspiration for beginning and intermediate students of Bhakti yoga, and for those who have an interest in integrating the principals and practices of  Bhakti yoga into their lives.

The views and opinions expressed on bhaktivedantacenter.com reflect the individual authors’ point of view and not necessarily those of the Bhaktivedanta Center.
