Amit Acara das and Mayapriya dasi are directors of the Bhaktivedanta Center and editors of Bhaktivedantacenter.com. They are initiated disciples of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada. They spent their early devotional years in ashram life, and in 1982 they helped found the New Goloka Temple community in North Carolina. They moved to Charlottesville, Virginia in 1993 to start the Bhaktivedanta Center and sponsor the Bhakti Yoga Club at the University of Virginia.

Mayapriya dasi is a book designer by trade. She has worked on many books by her spiritual master through the Bhaktivedanta Archives, and the Bhaktivedanta Book Trust,  as well as those of some of her godbrothers, including H.H.
